2025 in Bloom - A Year of Stunning UK Weddings & Floral Magic

Hello friends! The sun is finally shining here in the UK, and we couldn’t be happier. There’s something about spring’s fresh start, the longer days, warmer weather, and the first blooms of the season.

And speaking of highs… I’m still so honoured, incredibly proud and emotional after being named Wedding Florist of the Year by Weddings & Honeymoons Media, Britain’s leading wedding magazine! It’s an amazing recognition for the work I love. None of this would be possible without our wonderful couples, the dream team of freelance wedding florists and wedding industry friends.

With 2025 weddings in full swing and our books for 2026 officially open, we’re looking ahead to some seriously dreamy weddings. Think bigger, bolder floral designs, stunning UK venues, and couples embracing colour in the most incredible ways. We’re working at some of the most sought-after wedding locations across Somerset, the Cotswolds, Hampshire, London and beyond, creating floral magic for destination weddings right here in the UK.

So, let’s take a moment to celebrate this amazing year. Ready to dive into the floral trends shaping 2025? Here’s a little behind-the-scenes look at the venues, floral designs and moodboards we’re most excited about.

The Best UK Wedding Venues

With a calendar full of incredible weddings, we’re beyond excited to be creating floral magic at some of the UK’s most iconic venues. This year, we’ll be flowering at Hyde House, Avington Park, Sudeley Castle, and the stunning St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel, to name just a few. We’re also thrilled to be working at new venues for us here at The Way to Bloom… Something that always sparks lots of creativity. From the elegance of Hedsor House to the timeless charm of Four Seasons Hampshire and the breathtaking surroundings of Bore Place, 2025 is shaping up to be an unforgettable year.

Whenever we start designing for a new space, we always conduct a venue site visit. During this meeting, we always map out the guest journey and identify key areas for floral installations, statement entrances, and breathtaking ceremony backdrops. Our goal is to transform each venue into an unforgettable experience, where florals enhance every moment of your wedding day.

2025 Floral Mood Boards

As for the wedding floral mood boards and vibes for 2025… This year’s floral trends are all about making a statement, bold, beautiful, and completely unforgettable. We’re seeing couples embrace playful colour palettes, dramatic floral structures, and designs that truly make an impact.

Classic Colour Palettes

While timeless white and green florals will forever hold a special place in our hearts, 2025 is shaping up to be the year of bold, statement-making designs. We’re seeing brides embrace larger and more dramatic bouquets filled with lush textures and romantic movement. While still keeping that classic elegance we all adore, of course. Botanical elements are taking centre stage, with trailing greenery adding a natural and organic touch to designs. And of course, white English roses remain a firm favourite. This year, expect to see grand floral moments that perfectly balance timeless beauty with a fresh, modern edge.

Vibrant Pops of Colour

You should know by now, how much we adore colour!

Gone are the days of muted tones, this year, couples are leaning into bright and joyful hues. Oranges, peaches, pinks and yellows are stealing the show, creating a modern yet romantic and dramatic aesthetic.

Deep Pinks & Plush Textures

For those who love rich and dramatic florals, deep pinks, burgundy tones, and plush, velvety textures are set to be very popular. Our couples love bold bouquets, lush statement installations, and cascading floral arrangements that exude elegance.

Yellow is the Colour of the Year

We’re calling it – yellow is one of the top wedding colours for 2025. Whether it’s soft buttery pastels or deep golden hues, yellow florals bring warmth, happiness, and timeless beauty to any celebration. Lots of couples are using yellow as a signature colour paired with bright pink and pastel shades.

Wild and Organic Arrangements

Couples are moving toward more natural and free-flowing floral designs. Think asymmetrical bouquets, lush greenery, and designs that feel like they’ve been freshly gathered from an English garden. This aesthetic is especially perfect for countryside and outdoor weddings, where florals can feel completely in sync with the natural surroundings.

Statement Floral Installations

From grand staircase designs to dramatic hanging floral chandeliers, 2025 is all about making florals a focal point. We love using venues’ existing architecture to create stunning floral displays, whether it’s a flower-adorned fireplace, a floral arch framing the ceremony space, or blooms cascading down a grand staircase.

Bridesmaids & Colour - Adding Personality to the Wedding Party

One of the most exciting trends this year? Bridesmaids embracing colour! Whether it’s through their dresses, bridesmaid's bouquets, or both, we love seeing wedding parties step away from traditional neutrals in favour of bold colours. From sunset-inspired tones to vibrant mismatched florals, bridesmaids are making a statement.

Of course, we also adore designing bridesmaid bouquets that complement the overall wedding aesthetic while still giving each bridesmaid a unique floral moment. Whether it’s mini versions of the bridal bouquet or unique arrangements, we ensure that the bridesmaids’ florals feel just as special as the rest of the wedding design.

With so many exciting weddings ahead, we are feeling beyond inspired by this year’s floral designs. We’ll be sharing more behind-the-scenes moments, floral inspiration, and real wedding features throughout the year, so stay tuned!
