Enchanting Forest Elegance: A Romantic & Whimsical Wedding at St. Giles House
Hello! We can’t wait to share this romantic, whimsical and timeless wedding design featuring a classic colour palette of greenery and whites.
If you love the idea of timeless and elegant wedding florals with a natural and romantic feel, this one’s for you. We created the most enchanting wedding florals for a stunning couple, Allison and Dave, who dreamed of whimsical-elegance. Their floral mood board, aptly named Enchanted Floral Forest, set the tone for the entire day, bringing lush greenery, romantic white blooms, and grand floral installations to life in the most breathtaking way. So, let’s go behind the scenes of a wedding that still has us swooning, set at one of our all-time favourite venues, St. Giles House.
Giles House: A Venue with History, Character & Charm
We’ve worked at St. Giles House many times and it never gets old. This historic wedding venue on the Dorset border feels effortlessly romantic, making it a dream setting for couples who want that perfect mix of old-world charm and modern luxury.
One of the best things about St. Giles House is how versatile it is. Whether you’re planning a grand black-tie affair or something intimate and understated, the venue adapts beautifully. It also has on-site accommodation, which means you and your wedding party can wake up in the heart of the estate, surrounded by its gorgeous grounds.
The Beauty of a Classic Bridal Bouquet
Our bride Allison, carried a classic yet luxurious bouquet of English roses, delicate foliage, and soft white blooms, perfectly complementing her timeless and elegant bridal look. The bridesmaids wore sage green dresses and held smaller versions of the bride’s bouquet, tying everything together beautifully.
The Ceremony: A Walk Through an Enchanted Forest
As guests arrived, they stepped into a ceremony space transformed into a lush and romantic woodland. We created a tree-lined aisle with towering birch trees, bringing the outdoors in and giving the space an intimate yet grand feel.
The couple stood in front of a dramatic floral arch, designed with layers of cascading greenery and delicate white flowers. We kept the shape asymmetrical, adding both high and low elements to create a look that was both intentional and natural. One of our favourite floral design techniques for 2025 weddings.

Cocktail Hour: A Garden Party with a Statement Floral Bar
After the ceremony, guests made their way to the gardens of St. Giles House for a relaxed yet elegant cocktail hour. With the sun shining, drinks flowing, and laughter in the air, the space felt like something out of a European garden party.
One of the biggest statement pieces of the wedding was a large round floral bar, dressed in lush greenery and soft white florals. A large floral tree stood as the centrepiece from Twilight Trees that created a real wow-factor.
We also styled the wedding signage with delicate floral touches, from the welcome sign to the table plan, where guests found their seats while sipping champagne. Each place card was styled with bud vases filled with fresh white roses, because it’s the little things that make all the difference.
The Reception: Grand, Elegant & Overflowing with Florals
For the reception, guests dined in one of St. Giles House’s grand historic rooms, with grand fireplace features and large sash windows looking out onto the English garden lawn.
We created two long banquet tables adorned with lush floral arrangements, trailing greenery, and glowing candlelight. We opted for a mix of floral bowls in different shapes and sizes, creating depth and texture across the tablescape. This felt organic, romantic, and effortlessly elegant, exactly what our couple envisioned.
To tie everything together, the wedding florals were paired with green linen napkins and soft white on-the-day stationery, keeping the aesthetic fresh, modern, and timeless all at once.
